As a Staff Integrated Photonics Engineer at IonQ, you'll lead efforts in fabrication modeling and analysis of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) for quantum computing. You'll collaborate with fabrication engineers to improve device performance and integrate Design for Manufacturing techniques while managing projects effectively and communicating with team members.

As a Staff Optical Engineer at IonQ, you'll design and analyze optical systems for quantum computers, leading system validations and design reviews, while coordinating with project leads and suppliers. You must have expertise in optical physics and substantial experience in designing waveguides and performing tolerance analysis.

Lead and manage a team focused on research and development of photonics integrated circuits (PICs) and other integrated optical components and systems for quantum computing technology. Drive technology development cycles, maintain partnerships, and collaborate with external organizations. Work cross-functionally with quantum computer sub-system leads and senior leadership.
