The Manager, Application Engineering is responsible for managing a team of Application Engineers and QA resources to build award-winning products. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day activities, conducting People Operations responsibilities, scheduling projects and resources, coaching team members, and establishing processes and procedures. Required skills include PHP, SQL, AWS, Git, Agile methodologies, and leadership experience.

Solve problems in the Patient Payments organization at Waystar by proposing technical solutions, designing and developing features, adhering to coding standards, and assisting in the QA process. Maintain open communication with management and team members to improve applications and identify areas for enhancement.

Lead a team of skilled Application Engineers to develop products for clients, engage in technical design and cross-functional development, and demonstrate hands-on leadership. Responsibilities include business assessment, requirements analysis, application programming, and team management. Requires 7+ years of .NET and SQL Server experience, technical lead experience, strong communication skills, and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
