We are seeking three seasoned Senior Product Management professionals with experience in existing PLM systems who combine a blend of traditional product management skills with practical digital transformation expertise. We are looking for individuals who enjoy being part of building a new team and thrive in evolving environments.
The ideal candidates will have a broad understanding of various PLM vendors, combining digital thread orchestration, Masterdata platforms, BOM management, and Engineering Change Management, ideally with a focus on consumer products and/or interactive experiences and connected services.
Core Responsibilities
Core Technical Responsibilities involve defining and maintaining the PLM systems architecture, which includes managing Masterdata and BOM structures. The roles also require managing and optimizing Engineering Change Management workflows, such as ECO, ECR, and ECN. Additionally, overseeing integration patterns and API management is crucial, along with implementing microservices architecture. Driving the development of event-driven systems and solutions for real-time data processing is another key aspect. Furthermore, coordinating CAD/CAM integration and maintaining technical specifications are essential responsibilities. The roles will cover the following areas of responsibility:
Domain Management

Lead product development across physical and digital domains and drive manufacturing process improvements.

Develop digital product strategies and oversee production specifications for resin and electronics.

Manage licensed product timelines and maintain packaging and retail standards.
Process & Change Leadership

Implement and optimize stage-gate processes and change approval workflows.

Lead change impact assessments and coordinate complex change dependencies.

Develop supplier change management processes.
Data & Systems Oversight

Direct master data management and establish data quality protocols.

Implement revision control and data security frameworks.
-
Develop reporting and analytics frameworks.
Strategic Planning
-
Develop digital-physical product integration strategies and platform enhancements.

Create product roadmaps and digital business models.

Monitor competitors and lead cost engineering initiatives.
Compliance & Regulatory Management
-
Ensure compliance with safety standards and manage licensing workflows.

Oversee compliance documentation and define material testing requirements.

Establish audit trail procedures.
Core Product Management

Lead partner engagement and build detailed product requirements.

Prioritize feature development and balance agile with traditional cycles.

Develop user adoption strategies.
Platform Management

Oversee multi-tenant architecture and define supplier integration requirements.

Develop specification management systems and optimize workflows.

Monitor system performance.
Communication & Team Leadership

Implement collaboration tools and design notification systems.

Manage access control systems and lead cross-functional teams.

These roles are integral to our global Digital Product organization sitting within Innovation Engagement team (and will work alongside focusing other PMs enabling Product Development functions at the LEGO Group). You will work with colleagues across our extended digital ecosystem - collaborating with product Trios and partners in Product Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Retail, and more—to ensure the full LEGO product lifecycle is considered and represented in our roadmap. Reporting to the Product Leader for PELM, and working closely with the Head of PELM Transformation, you'll balance hands-on Product Management with strategic oversight to accelerate the development of the future ecosystem, always focusing on data and the cross-business lifecycle experience.
Please note: The positions are based in Billund. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). Relocation support is not offered for the roles!
Do you have what it takes?

Extensive experience in Consumer Products Supply Chain or PLM sectors.

Significant experience in consumer-packaged goods and digital content marketing.

Proven expertise in product management and agile development with a successful track record.

Ability to build and lead high-performing multi-disciplinary teams.

Experience in driving transformational change and enhancing collaboration.

Excellent communication skills for clearly articulating problems and solutions.

Strong networking and partner management skills.

Experience working in a matrix organization.
Preferred:
-
Working experience with at least two main PLM technology vendors (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Siemens, PTC).

Understanding of micro-electronics, IoT engineering, and knowledge of Circular PLM systems for sustainability.

Experience of ECM across different factory set-ups, incorporating more human-supported assembly lines and heavily automated robotic plants.
