Core Responsibilities

Define the web and e-commerce roadmap for LEGO Education through continuous engagement with cross functional colleagues to ideate, capture and refine the project backlog

Implement website conversion rate optimization (CRO) methodologies and modern technology (e.g., personalization, chatbots, A/B testing, etc.) to achieve lead generation and revenue goals

Optimize website discoverability through close partnership with the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) team

Work proactively with Global Marketing and Education Impact team members across the company to ensure all website content is kept up to date and aligned with the company’s brand and messaging guidelines

Capture insights and learning from competitor analysis, user research, market trends, and general qualitative & quantitative data to generate new ideas

Provide vision and direction to the product team and be the voice of the user, clearly communicating objectives, goals and measure success

Long-term strategic partnership on the LEGO Education Web presence within the LEGO Group portfolio

Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Matomo tracking on the website and ensure data flow into the company’s data lake

As a key member of the LEGO Education US and Global Marketing team, this position will be responsible for the overall web strategy, execution, and measurement/performance (visitors, conversions, revenue, etc.) for the LEGO Education business
Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate brings a relevant background and at least 5 years of experience as a website or product owner coupled with both B2B and E-commerce experience. In addition, we expect that you have:

Proven track record in working directly with agile product teams or related experience

Deep technical expertise and understanding of both front end and back end web development

Experience with marketing organizations and marketing website/webpage development

Exceptional partner management and communications skills

Ability to lead sizing, scoping, and prioritizing of web roadmap and projects
It will be an advantage if you have experience with and/or understanding of K-12 education, Microsoft Suite, Matomo, Content Stack, Jira and hands-on physical products.
