Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Manufacturing and Molding Engineers with various tasks as requested
including the following:
Troubleshooting and optimization of manufacturing and/or molding processes including manual & automated equipment. Writing protocols and performing process and equipment validations. Assisting Engineering and QA in resolving problems related to various processes and/or products.
- Other tasks as assigned by Manufacturing Engineering Manager
- Adhere to all Atrion policies including safety, attendance, and personal hygiene requirements per the Atrion Employee Handbook.

- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of mechanics and electromechanical systems
- Ability to speak and present information effectively
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Education:
- High School Diploma required.
- Accepted to or currently enrolled in an Engineering discipline, such as Mechanical, Industrial, Plastics, Polymer or Electrical, from an accredited four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Training in Robotic systems preferred
Physical Demands:
Up to 1/3 of time is spent standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handle or feel, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, or to reach with hands or arms. 1/3 to 2/3 of time is spent talking or hearing. Up to 1/3 of time is spent lifting up to 20 lbs.
Up to 1/3 of time is spent working near moving mechanical parts.
Work Environment:
The work environment described here is representative of that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in both an office and manufacturing environment interacting with others in the same work areas. The noise level is quiet to moderately loud.
