Job Summary
The SVP, Brand is part of the marketing leadership function, working hand in hand with the CMO to oversee the cultivation of a coherent brand story and corresponding design vocabulary. The SVP, Brand is responsible for stating who the Brand is, while the CMO is responsible for what the Brand says and does
Duties and Responsibilities

This key executive presence provides a unifying force and singular focus to both the marketing department and the company or organization at large.

Create the values that earn brands real, lasting reputations.

Creates a unified culture that ensures that all of an organization’s wide-ranging efforts are inspired by consumers’ real feedback, and aligned with the core brand story, design, and beliefs.

Translate consumer feedback and trends in the market, into insights, bringing compelling brand stories to life, managing the image of the brand, increasing the value of the brand and building a unified culture around the brand.

Own the written brand strategy, ensures there is consistency in all elements of the branding work, owns the totality of the brand story, collects and ensures the brand values are aligned with everything the brand says and does and tracks the brands performance versus consumer perception of same.

Curator of the Brand’s Purpose, uses data-informed decisions to ensure the Brand stays ahead of consumers’ changing needs and wants.

Reports directly to the President/Chief Growth Officer of the Company.

Member of Company Executive Leadership Council.
