The Opportunity
InCharge Energy is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize the flow of materials from procurement through delivery, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness across our supply chain operations. This role is critical to maintaining production schedules and requires a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in supply chain management, ERP systems, and logistics within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled at managing a high volume of parts, optimizing inventory levels, and driving continuous improvements in procurement, inventory control, and logistics.
What You’ll Do
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to secure materials at competitive prices and optimal lead times
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate vendor performance
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure stability and reliability
Material Planning & Inventory Control
- Develop and maintain master production schedules (MPS) in collaboration with production planning teams
- Forecast material demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure material availability to meet production requirements
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize carrying costs while ensuring stock sufficiency
- Oversee cycle counting, stocktaking, and reconciliation to maintain accurate inventory records
Return Material Authorization (RMA) Management
- Manage warranty cases with suppliers to ensure timely repair or replacement of damaged equipment
- Analyze damaged equipment with production teams and coordinate efficient repair/replacement processes
- Report RMA metrics to leadership to assess vendor performance and drive improvements
Logistics & Distribution
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and customs compliance
- Negotiate freight rates and manage relationships with logistics providers to ensure cost-effective shipping solutions
- Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support operational growth
Team Leadership & Process Improvement
- Lead and develop a team of supply chain coordinators and specialists, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
- Conduct annual performance reviews, define OKRs, and support continuous professional development
- Regularly review and optimize internal supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and cost savings
ERP & Data-Driven Decision Making
- Leverage ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) to drive efficiency in procurement, planning, inventory management, and logistics
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve supply chain performance
- Prepare and present reports on supply chain metrics, vendor performance, and cost optimization initiatives
Your Experience & Capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment
- Proven experience managing large volumes of parts and materials in a fast-paced production setting
- Extensive experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Strong knowledge of procurement, material planning, inventory control, and logistics principles
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities
- Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- APICS certification (CSCP or CPIM) is a plus
- Experience in the EV industry is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 25%
US Salary Range
$85,000—$115,000 USD
