Strategic Sourcing Manager
This role is responsible for managing the overall sourcing strategy for purchased parts, equipment and service providers at Restaurant Technologies; supporting large scale strategic sourcing initiatives related to supplier Cost, Service, Innovation and Responsiveness. Initiate and lead projects that improve the performance and quality of purchased materials and services while minimizing the total cost required to achieve financial objectives (EBITDA & Cash Flow). Identify, select and manage suppliers to drive innovation and new product development. This role will report to the Director of Supply Chain.
Location
This role is fully remote, but must live in the continental US.
Travel
Ability to travel 25-50% domestically without restrictions
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 annually, In addition, this role is eligible for an annual company performance based incentive bonus. Please note that the base salary will vary based on geographic location, market conditions, and the candidate's experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance

Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships

Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and practices, integrating larger Restaurant Technologies organizational practices while maintaining a nimble, quick Sourcing team

Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Adhere to all relevant guidelines and regulations
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
-
3+ years’ experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or Finance

Proven track record of driving cost savings and supplier performance improvement

Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
-
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Expert with Oracle Cloud ERP (or other cloud-based ERP system)

Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

Organizational skills – must be organized and committed to meeting deadlines to spearhead both the planning and implementation stages of multiple projects

Communication skills –ability to build mutual trust and credibility at all levels of an organization.

Analytical thinking – able to critically evaluate individual processes and projects, and synthesize insights to monitor and evaluate progress

Ability and experience in planning, prioritizing competing priorities, budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis

Effectively facilitate meetings, trainings, presentations and reports
Preferred Requirements
-
Experience managing original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and contract manufacturers in a source-to-sell environment.

Experience sourcing fluid management components and electromechanical assemblies.

Fluid management components include tanks, hoses, pumps. Electromechanical components include or contain, steel, aluminum, electronics, etc.

Master’s in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar related field

5 to 7 years’ experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or Finance
