ImpactAs a Strategic Sourcing Manager, located in Minneapolis, MN or Birmingham, AL, you will build and execute category management plans and leading sourcing and negotiation approaches for indirect spend categories. You’ll share and promote the best tactics across the entire company while developing deep category knowledge and close client relationships. You’ll also collaborate with internal partners who use world class sourcing tools and processes, build total cost of ownership financial models, ensure contract & catalog management, deliver operational leadership, and champion Supplier Diversity in order to optimize leverage for Shipt.
This role will be seated in our Birmingham, AL or Minneapolis, MN office.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful

7+ years of relevant experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing

Proven track record of leading large and complex cross-enterprise projects; projects include sourcing events, RFP’s and direct negotiations.

Experience in using procurement related systems, spend management and analytics toolsets; Shipt uses Workday Strategic Sourcing (WSS)

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills demonstrated while working with Cross Functional and Third Party teams.

Experience reviewing indirect procurement contracts for legal and regulatory compliance

Effective conflict management skills

Strong drive and sense of urgency in a deadline-oriented environment
Work Arrangement
Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City:
$86,357-$172,715
All other locations:
$72,035-$143,964
Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
