The Opportunity:
Avantor Performance Materials Korea Ltd is located at Suwon, Gyeonggi-do province.
Under general supervision, sell a specific product, service line, or solution that within another sales representative's territory. Partner with inside/outside sales representatives to assist in closing complex and/or technical sales that require additional expertise. Coach territory sales teams on technical knowledge related to specialty products/services. Attend industry events, technical training classes, and professional organization meetings.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Accounts Manager to lead our Strategic Accounts team and drive growth within the biopharma industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities, a proven sales track record, and the ability to develop and manage long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
What we’re looking for:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in the biopharma or related industries, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Language Proficiency: Native fluency in Korean and strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Key Skills: Outstanding interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and develop a team of sales professionals.
- Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally to support business objectives.

Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and manage the Strategic Accounts team (2-3 sales representatives).
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous development, and high performance within the team.
Account Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Address and resolve customer concerns, including complaint management, troubleshooting, and negotiation of terms.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve organizational objectives and revenue targets.
- Manage sales pipelines, orders, and forecasts to ensure the achievement of business goals.
Market Expansion and Penetration:
- Drive market expansion for Avantor’s biopharma process chemicals, single-use products, and other related consumables and equipment.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance Avantor’s market presence and influence.
Communication and Coordination:
- Serve as the primary communication liaison between customers, Avantor Korea, and the global headquarters.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient information sharing to align customer needs with internal resources.
