Description -
The role of the Business Line Manager Radiotherapy Solutions for Korea is based on being the pivot between the Regional Radiotherapy business line and Korea. This includes driving the achievement of Korean Radiotherapy Business Line P&L, developing localized market strategies, launching new products, new market development, winning new business, and increasing the adoption of the Radiotherapy portfolio for greenfield & brownfield opportunities, existing installed base customers and competitor sites in direct and indirect markets.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the whole customer lifecycle of all radiotherapy products and services, focusing on marketing support for orders and revenue in both solutions and services. In addition, supporting the Order fulfilment and Service teams to improve the customer experience & satisfaction. To provide input to short, medium and long term planning and strategy exercises based on customer input, market analysis and strategic planning either developed globally or locally. You will also focus on competitive differentiation and developing Korean strategies for turning customers into long term Elekta partners and successfully converting competitive accounts.
Operationally, the role is responsible for the radiotherapy sales support and leading a small team of sales support specialists in winning and maintaining the mindshare for radiotherapy within the organization with direct and indirect people management responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive accomplishment of Korean Linac and MR-Linac P&L targets and growth ambition for the Radiotherapy Business Line.
- Develop of Korean Linac and MR-Linac and local sales/adoption strategy for the Radiotherapy solutions business in conjunction with business line, regional and local sales and channel partners.
- Set and guard local price development based on solid win-loss analysis.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships through reference site agreements, KOL & clinical consultancy, Research & proof-point development, etc., with customers to support the promotion and sales of Radiotherapy solutions, always in complete alignment with regional and business line strategies.
- Consolidate the voice-of-the-customer and needs of the of Korean Linac and MR-Linac to the Business Line for input into the product development and strategic prioritization processes
- Provide expert sales support for Radiotherapy solutions across the of Korean Linac and MR-Linac: events, site visits, value propositions, sales projects and expert tender & RFP responses.
- Provide input to of Korean Linac and MR-Linac Sales & Marketing teams to help drive Life cycle management business, including the service business and standalone consumable business segment development.
- Provide input, segmentation targeting & content development to the Regional Sales & Marketing team to help the opportunity generation process through targeted campaigns and programmes.
- Work with OF and Customer Service teams on initiatives relating to the improvement of customer satisfaction to promote customer loyalty and repeat business
- Set business line direction for the budget process and LTP, drive and develop guidance & governance for of Korean Linac and MR-Linac pricing
- Manage of Korean Linac and MR-Linac PR in close collaboration with the Business Line and Regional marketing.
- Educate Korean sales and channel partners in the positioning/messaging/value propositions of the Radiotherapy solutions business.
- Support market data collection such as customer needs, competitors, pricing, market share and market trends.
- Interact with other functions and operations within the Elekta Group to ensure seamless up-and downstream marketing
Authorities -
The role has 4 key categories of tasks to manage:
- P&L, Business Strategy and Market Development
- Sales and Marketing Support, including interlocks with Global and Regional sales teams
- Operations and general management, this role has one direct report and indirect direction to a group of pre-sales specialists in the Region
- Champion Radiotherapy solutions internally and externally
Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies -
- Bachelor/University Degree/MBA or similar preferred.
- Proven commercial, sales and marketing experience in Radiation Oncology or peripheral expertise such as diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology or robotic surgery is preferred
- Knowledge and experience of working in the Asia Pacific Region and markets
- Knowledge of and previous use of radiotherapy products is a plus
- Relevant clinical experience in Oncology or a related field is a plus
- Displayed practical communication skills and requires excellent influencing skills
- A skilled speaker and representative in social contacts.
- A clear team player; strong track record in working in complex, multi-functional, multi-cultural and international environments
- Self-starting, entrepreneurial, dynamic, creative and energetic behaviour is the standard.
- Fluent in English in both written and verbal.
- As required to meet job objectives; willing to travel up to 50% of time
