The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Director of AI-Powered Content Management - Global Platforms to lead the end-to-end strategy and delivery of the content and information management capabilities of our flagship SaaS platform: InSight DXP. This role will be directly responsible for the multi-year strategic vision, product market fit, roadmap, future innovation, and on-time delivery of capabilities that results in market leadership and sustainable revenue growth globally. Examples of AI-powered content management capabilities include case management, information management, and information governance.
This role requires a seasoned product leader with a proven track record of building platforms and products from the ground up, scaling organizations, and driving impactful business results. This role will report directly into the Chief Technology Officer / Chief Product Officer and is a unique and exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives on solving complex problems, driving innovation, and delivering high-value solutions to global markets.
Role and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year product vision and strategy for the content management and governance capabilities within InSight DXP, while ensuring alignment with business goals, evolving market opportunities, and regional nuances.

Lead platform growth driven and market strength in content management and governance from zero to one, driving innovation and scaling the content management capabilities for global adoption.

Develop scalable case management and low-code offerings tailored for regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, public sector).

Drive impactful business outcomes by identifying opportunities for differentiation, opportunities for market expansion, and delivering market-leading solutions.

Position Iron Mountain as a thought leader in the document management and low-code platform spaces.

Balance innovation with operational excellence, ensuring scalability, security, and profitability.
Customer-Centric Delivery & Innovation

Oversee full product lifecycle management, from ideation to launch, with a focus on rapid iteration and SaaS-driven growth.

Deliver customer-focused solutions that reduce complexity and ensure defensible records retention, discoverability, and archiving.

Embed low-code configuration tools to enable customer self-service and rapid solution deployment.

Partner with UX and engineering to modernize UI/UX for content-heavy workflows.

Translate complex records management and IG requirements into configurable platform features.

Ensure products meet evolving standards for security, privacy, and compliance, including integrations with leading governance tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview).
Go-to-Market Execution

Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for SaaS-based platform offerings, including pricing, packaging, and adoption models, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Service Excellence teams to optimize product positioning and customer acquisition.

Identify and expand into new market segments, ensuring competitive differentiation and alignment with global business goals.

Partner with sales and marketing teams to drive self-service onboarding, marketplace expansion, and ecosystem integrations.

Define and implement trial-to-paid conversion experiences to accelerate customer adoption.

Equip the sales team with the tools, knowledge, and strategies needed to effectively market and sell the DXP platform.

Maintain a focus on platform compliance with enterprise security and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation

Partner with engineering to define architecture, manage development timelines, and ensure high-quality delivery.

Collaborate with enterprise customers to gather insights and develop platform accelerators to drive adoption.

Develop developer and citizen developer enablement programs to enhance user adoption.

Lead AI-driven innovation initiatives, integrating Generative AI and intelligent automation into the platform.
Operational & Commercial Excellence

Monitor and manage key performance metrics, including product profitability, sales performance, and customer retention, making data-driven adjustments to maximize impact.

Address technical debt, prioritize architectural improvements, and deliver a roadmap that supports long-term scalability.
Team Leadership

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.

The Ideal Candidate Characteristics & Credentials

10+ years of product management or related experience with deep expertise in enterprise content management, case management, and/or information governance.

Proven experience building SaaS or cloud-based platforms and products from zero to one, scaling organizations, and achieving impactful business results.

Strong understanding of records management frameworks, data residency, and information lifecycle policies.

Background in managing low-code platforms, unstructured document management tools, and intelligent document processing solutions.

Expertise in AI/ML technologies (including LLMs) and their application in solving complex business problems.

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance ecosystems (e.g., FINRA, HIPAA, GDPR).

Experience with Microsoft Purview or e-archiving platforms.

Experience with RPA tools and process automation technologies is a plus.
Technical Expertise

Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and data governance standards.

Familiarity with SaaS business models, subscription pricing, and customer lifecycle management.
