We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our People team.

In this role, you’ll ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with local regulations and internal policies. You’ll play a key role in supporting compensation processes, handling payroll reporting, and contributing to continuous improvements in our payroll operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in payroll processing, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive mindset for problem-solving and process optimization.

What you’ll do:

• Handle the full cycle payroll process (including data collection, organization & entry, payroll calculations)

• Register data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs

• Prepare and process payslips

• Develop best practices to improve efficiency of payroll processes

• Maintain accurate records, produce, and communicate payroll related reports

• Safeguard compliance with the Greek Employment Law (on Payroll) and internal policies

• Liaise with public authorities, auditors and manage payroll audits

• Act as point of contact for employees' payroll related queries

• Interpret, implement, and maintain policies and procedures pertaining to payroll

• Perform payroll reconciliations and provisions as requested

• Prepare statements of payment

• Preparation and filing of statutory reporting to tax and social security authorities (ΦΜΥ & ΑΠΔ)

• Calculate benefit in kind amounts (company cars, ticket restaurants, tips etc) and include them to the Tax Declaration File (ΦΜΥ)

• Handle work accidents and illnesses procedures

Qualifications

• BSc degree (BA, HR or relevant)

• At least 5 years of experience in Payroll

• Experience working with shift employees will be considered a plus

• High level of attention to detail and numerical literacy

• Proven organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize

• Good MS Office Suite knowledge and usage

• Experience working with HRIS systems

• Excellent English skills
