Job Description
Japan Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving revenue growth and brand recognition in Japan, based in regional business strategic objectives, in cooperation with APAC marketing.
As a member of marketing team, she/He plans, implements and manage appropriate marketing measures based on the customer's situation at each phase of the customer journey in the field of end customer communication and partner communication.
This position works closely with other teams in Japan such as sales, sales engineers and technical support and is required to perform as a good team player.
Responsibilities (key accountabilities)
- Planning, implementation, and management of demand generation activities such as event, seminar, webinar, tradeshow, digital campaign and so forth.
- Work with different functional teams and provide marketing consultation and support accordingly.
- Organize internal and external media communications.
- Create and manage product and solution marketing collaterals.
- Post-event management including lead follow up, measurement and analysis of effectiveness of all marketing efforts.
- Grow and manage marketing database.
- Web site management.
- Social media posting, blog, newsletter management.
Profile (Qualifications for this job) Knowledge, abilities, skills
- At least 10 years solid experience in marketing, preferably with global technology company or security industry
- Enthusiasm and drive to achieve KPIs within the given resource and budget.
- Digital marketing, web marketing, event management and partner marketing experience
- Strong verbal and written communication in English (TOEIC700) and Japanese (Native) and organization skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels of the organization and external constituencies, sales leaders, C-level executives, industry analysts, and others
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet commitments
- Knowledge of marketing automation system
- Original and creative problem solving
- Organized with excellent use of time management
- Efficient capability on Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Bachelor’s Degree in (or equivalent) in marketing, communications, or related field
- Expected travel time for this position in approx.10% per year
