WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Manage a team of 10+ account managers for assigned regions, responsible for staffing and training the team, and ensuring productivity and team success. The sales operations group is responsible for supporting local linear and digital sales teams by managing the execution of client advertising campaigns and providing Ampersand's clients unparalleled service & support.
HOW YOU'LL BE CONTRIBUTING:

  • Partner with sales leadership to guide team in workflow as they assist the team in strategically influencing agencies/ clients to place orders and/or increase revenue.
  • Work closely with the team to make recommendations and support campaign optimizations daily.
  • Proactively work with internal stakeholders such as Ad Operations to resolve any campaign execution issues identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations on efficiencies through technology and/or workflow changes
  • Assist the team in the prioritization, management and execution of the sales cycle and account workflow.
  • Interview and hire new team members as needed
  • Provide leadership to team to promote continuous learning and teamwork; proactively identify opportunities for growth
  • Evaluate personnel and conduct annual performance/ KPI reviews; responsible for all written materials
  • Daily oversight of sales planner/account manager PTO, timesheets, work-from-home schedules etc.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 5+ years of working experience
  • Experience managing a team of individuals and mentoring and developing staff
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a self-starter with an aptitude for defining new processes; Must possess a passion to drive the business forward
  • Strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to lead develop solutions as they arise while continuously planning for future needs
  • Ability to understand and analyze operational metrics and turn them into insight and actionable items

Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Ampersand salary range for this position in the NYC Metro Region. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, experience and performance
The range listed is just one component of Ampersand's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary annual bonuses and / or overtime, commission, etc., as well as competitive benefits including PTO, medical & dental & vision benefits, 401K with employer match, short & long-term disability, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, pre-tax commuter benefits & flexible spending accounts.
Salary Range Transparency
This role has a $75,000 base salary of $100,000 and discretionary annual bonus.
