Job Description:
The Legal Receptionist provides administrative support to our client which may include; copy, print, mail, and facilities services in addition to reception duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reception (75% of the role)
- Work closely with the client's staff to assist with front office
- Answer incoming telephone calls and forward to the appropriate person
- Promptly greet and announce visitors in a friendly and business-like manner
- Maintain a neat and organized reception desk and front lobby area
- Coordination and upkeep of conference rooms, common areas, and kitchens
- Placing lunch and catering orders for meetings
- Audio Visual Set-up assistance
- Order and stock supplies as needed
- Perform other administrative duties as requested
- Other Duties (25%)
- Mail Services includes metering, sorting, and distributing mail and accountable packages per schedule
- Copy Services includes accurately producing copy, print and scan projects per written instructions
- Floor Coordination includes the upkeep of copy rooms and stocking of general supplies, delivery of paper, and basic daily maintenance
- Facilities Services may include hanging pictures, small office moves, cleaning services and communication with key client contacts regarding building/equipment concerns.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year work experience preferably as a receptionist
- Previous experience in a client service field preferred
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail
- Ability to handle complaints with professionalism, patience, and diplomacy
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 50lbs
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time
The Compensation range for this role is 19.01 to 25.00 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
