Job Description

Your Role: As a member of the Internal Communications team, an Internal Communications Associate is responsible for supporting and executing communication plans that demonstrate the impact and alignment of Invesco’s strategy and priorities. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, Internal Communications, your role will include supporting high-level communications from leadership, scaled employee engagement events to unite our teams globally and will involve the curation and drafting of content for a range of communication channels and audiences. This is an excellent role for an individual interested in building a career at the intersection of organizational change, culture and communication.

You will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with Internal Communication team members globally to support the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to ensure key Invesco initiatives are communicated to the organization.

• Curation and creation of articles, blog posts, newsletters, video scripts and commentaries, infographics, outlines and speaker notes to communicate Invesco’s strategy and priorities.

• This includes writing, editing, and championing of Invesco-established communication’s best practices

• Supporting the content review process by internal stakeholders, Corporate Communications and Legal and Compliance, as required

• Helping to maintain an organized, searchable archive of communications materials produced through SharePoint online and help team members and leaders across Invesco leverage them for a range of purposes, including for use within presentations to business partners.

• Help support the content, logistics and delivery of high quality, large-scale events across Invesco.

• Provide design support to Invesco leadership teams in creating PowerPoint presentations for meetings with key stakeholders and management across Invesco and Invesco

• Serve as general point of communications internally for Internal Communications liaisons across Invesco functional leaders. Offer them content creation, production support, and leverage their work to inform broader communication needs and drive consistency across the organization.

• Support the analysis if quantitative engagement metrics and trends to assess the impact of this work and inform future enhancements to our communications strategy and channels.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

• 2 - 4 years of work experience, including demonstrated strong proficiency in English with a proven record of writing articles, journalistic experience and portfolios of work are especially welcomed

• Proven success in a proactive, independent role, preferably within the financial services industry

• Experience supporting senior leadership

• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working independently and driving own initiatives

• Mastery of the MS Office suite is required. Experience in SharePoint and in web design is a plus

• Intellectual agility – the ability to learn and act on new information quickly and efficiently

• Team player across all levels of the organization

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
