Job Description:
The EMEA Customer Activation and Brand Experience Head will lead the Customer Activation and Brand Experience team to deliver growth of the Champion Petfoods brands Acana and Orijen across the region, working closely with the Champion Petfoods EMEA Marketing and Sales Team to ensure the support necessary to achieve growth objectives and foster a successful collaboration with retailers.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 years+ plus experience in trade marketing, customer or Shopper Marketing or sales in FMCG
- A deep understanding of the local market dynamics in the EMEA region or capable of quickly understanding, including consumer behavior, retail landscape, and cultural nuances. Experience adapting global strategies for local execution is a plus
- Strong relationship builder, networker, formal and informal influencer; ability to navigate through organisations through formal and informal channels
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Develop and own the most efficient activation model for the region (across all markets) identifying most efficient tools and mechanics, mapping synergies to be achieved and implementing a team process of activation development together with Category, Advocacy and Digital Heads.
- Develop and implement a 3 year Customer and Market Activation strategy including best practice, optimal KPI definition & measurement, continuous improvement & delivering best in class capabilities.
- Development, delivery & communication of Regional Activity Plan (with relevant granularity level agreed within a market) in line with Regional Portfolio and Activation prioritization aligned at Growth Planning
- Line management and development of a team of direct reports (5), including clear succession and career planning for all high potentials
