Introduction
Lansweeper is a leading provider of IT Asset Management solutions, empowering businesses to gain comprehensive insights into managing and protecting their IT devices and networks. Our platform enables organizations to minimize risks and optimize IT resources by delivering actionable insights about technology assets, user activity, device health, and software compliance.
About the Role
We are seeking a Channel Manager - Distributors to manage and expand relationships with our valued resellers and distributors. The successful candidate will strategically leverage Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and distributors to achieve key sales objectives through efficient process management and robust sales support.
Key Responsibilities

  1. Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain productive partnerships with resellers and distributors.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance and strengthen existing partnerships.
  • Maximize the collaboration value between Lansweeper and its resellers/distributors.

2. Onboarding

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new resellers, ensuring a focus on individual deals.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, along with discount agreements.
  • Initiate strategic partnerships with distributors through detailed business plans.

3. Sales Enablement

  • Assist distributors with efficient deal registration processes.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to address current knowledge gaps among partners.
  • Collaborate with partners to streamline their sales processes.

4. Pipeline Management

  • Apply a data-driven approach to effectively manage the sales pipeline.
  • Analyze deal sizes, conversion rates, and overall pipeline progress.
  • Evaluate and forecast sales figures based on analytical insights rather than structured pipeline reviews.
  • Provide additional sales support to distributors to enhance deal closure rates.

5. KPI Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track essential key performance indicators (KPIs), focusing on pipeline management and qualified leads.
  • Identify and address "blind spots" in specific regions through strategic assessment.
  • Conduct monthly check-ins with top-performing contributors to evaluate performance metrics.
  • Manage hybrid systems for the international tracking of new deals.

6. Partner Management and Strategy

  • Approve leads, ensuring there are no duplicate entries in the system.
  • Collaborate with strategic VARs that demonstrate high potential for growth.
  • Organize internal processes efficiently to improve return on investment (ROI) for all stakeholders.

Key Challenges

  • Managing a diverse range of partners across Europe while balancing short-term revenue goals with long-term strategic growth.
  • Establishing relationships with new partners while becoming adept at internal systems and processes.
  • Navigating unclear targets, including hybrid systems and global deal flows, to ensure consistent progress.

What I bring to the table:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in SaaS sales.
  • Proven track record in managing reseller and distributor relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of partners and prioritize efforts effectively.
  • Excellent analytical skills for monitoring sales pipelines and KPIs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building partnerships.
  • Process-oriented mindset to improve operational efficiency.

What We Do

Managing IT has never been a bigger challenge. Hardware, software, and users can be anywhere at any time, making IT environments extremely dynamic and often complex. A seemingly simple question has become terribly difficult to answer: ‘Who is using what device?’

IT managers have to make decisions that are often based on scattered, out of date, and incomplete data sources. How can you effectively manage the IT of an organization, if you’re not 100% sure of what assets you have to manage in the first place?

This question inspired Lansweeper and still drives us today. We believe that answering it is crucial to tackle and simplify many of the challenges IT professionals face every day.

Centralized IT Asset Data enables every stakeholder who needs insights into your company’s IT landscape to speak the same language. Connecting and centralizing IT Asset Data to collaborate across silos, locations, and departments is essential.

Eliminate the blind spots from your environment and discover assets you didn't even know about. Lansweeper's IT Inventory Platform provides you the means to achieve complete visibility into your IT, centralized into one solution, helping you gain an in-depth understanding of your entire IT estate.

Lansweeper creates a substantial reduction in the measure of time IT teams would ordinarily spend on routine, yet key assignments, such as network discovery, inventory, software distribution, licensing and updates. This task automation is critical for organizations with restricted staff and IT spending plans. Reveal needless expenses, support budgeting decisions, and manage your IT cost-effectively with Lansweeper

The basic premise of good cybersecurity is that you can’t protect what you can’t see. So the critical first step when it comes to basic cyber hygiene is to maintain visibility of your IT environments and develop the relevant daily routines to inspect and verify.
