About the role:
As an Associate Research Analyst/Research Analyst, you’ll be an integral part of our Economies and Consumer Data team, contributing to one of the largest socioeconomic databases covering 210 countries and 1,219 cities worldwide. This role combines data research, analysis, and client engagement, offering a dynamic environment to grow your expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, update, and expand socioeconomic data from national and international sources.
- Build and maintain relationships with key data providers to ensure access to the latest statistics.
- Standardize and analyse raw data for global comparability across indicators and regions.
- Enhance data collection and standardization processes, with a focus on automation.
- Perform calculations and numerical analysis using MS Excel in line with established methodologies.
- Collaborate with Sales and Consulting teams to address client queries and requests.
- A degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Interest in global economic, demographic, and industry trends.
- Experience in research, data analysis, and statistical manipulation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with R or similar statistical tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail, even when working under tight deadlines.
- A methodical approach to repetitive tasks and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
