About This Role:
The Account Manager will cover midsize to large international and local companies with a significant presence in India and will be responsible for selling Forrester’s research and consulting products to clients and prospects in India. You will manage a first-year quota made up of existing clients and new business from the designated territory within the target sectors.
Job Description:
- Achieve 100% (or more) of individual quota.
- Lead overall strategy and activity in the targeted accounts.
- Ensure year-on-year growth in existing accounts.
- Position Forrester as the research and advisory company of choice.
- Properly position and manage internal resources to effectively address external opportunities.
- Forecast, budget, track, and report key metrics every week and month to your manager.
- Generate new leads and manage your pipeline.
- Schedule new business appointments and visit clients.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships and satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree and proven experience in sales.
- Successful outside sales experience selling information technology and/or professional services products.
- Excellent interpersonal and team-playing skills.
- Experience selling to senior-level executives (senior VP, general manager, regional CEO, etc.).
- A proven track record of hunting for new business in a recent job.
- Experience selling into large organizations at tier one companies.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (essential).
- Someone who is self-motivated and has an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Fluency in English.
- The ability to travel frequently to meet with clients; some travel for internal training.
- An Indian passport or valid Indian work and residency permits.
