Your Opportunity: JMD (a division of Taylor Corporation) is seeking an Account Director to join our team. The person in this role is a critical client partner liaison responsible for demonstrating strategic leadership, effective communication, business acumen, accountability, and a vision for their portfolio of brands.
The Account Director will successfully leverage industry experience, and data-driven skills to drive innovative thinking while continuously setting challenges and objectives by balancing client, agency, and team needs.
This position oversees the day-to-day requirements needed to complete tasks for a creative agency and all client accounts, driven by visionary thought leadership to support such goals.
Your Responsibilities:
- Help drive sales through new Client acquisition and Client Management
- Create account strategies, leading projects from conception to final execution
- Maintain relationships and serve as the point of contact and liaison for Clients/Customers
- Pitch concepts and summarize results during multiple client meetings
- Manage team (Account Manager, Studio Coordinator) dedicated to accounts and set up department that can handle the high volume of projects while creating practices and processes to streamline, become more efficient and enable the agency to grow
- Work with teams to develop materials, coordinate meetings and provide support and direction
- Create and manage internal timelines in order to meet external timelines
- Work with design team on any given project to ensure timelines are met
- Lead morning huddles with creative team to align on daily project milestones
- Initiate contracts, scope of work and handle negotiations with Clients
- Have a deep understanding and knowledge of costing structures for creative agency setting
- Oversee AR and AP with the President and the internal financial team
- Manage all aspects of client campaigns, providing excellent client service while maximizing business opportunities.
- Establish and grow strong relationships with senior client stakeholders by demonstrating industry knowledge and attention to detail
- Make strategic decisions and provide a clear sense of direction for each brands action. Take risks and make difficult decisions with integrity and honesty
- Produce/oversee timely, accurate, and effective weekly client performance recommendations, reporting/analysis, and quarterly results analysis
- Participate and help and develop company capabilities presentations and lead with confidence while actively listening to the client
You Must Have:
- Bachelor s Degree
- At least eight years’ experience in client management, creative management, and/or agency setting
- Ability to manage multiple brands and projects and thrive under pressure
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- A creative mindset and ability to think outside of the box
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Proven skills or experience in sales is a plus
- Time-management, organization and leadership skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $127,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
