We are now looking for an experienced Application Developer with strong technical skills and solid working experience to work in new challenging outsourced projects.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work and liaise directly with the Organizations Front & Middle Office and various functions to gather the requirements.
- Understand and participate actively to issue solving (Incidents, Service Requests etc)
- Familiarity and confidence working in a proper development environment: CI/CD
- Writing of robust code along with accompanying test suites.
- Participation in several testing phases.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Design, Development & Sizing projects.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and delivery process and source control management (Jira, Git, etc.)
- Experience in the insurance industry will be considered a plus.
- Functional programming experience is a plus.
- Good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a global team environment.
- Be a self-starter and be able to quickly grasp and understand existing software.
- Coordinate with other teams in Technology
- Good knowledge of MS Visual Studio (C++/C#) / .NET / SSRS /REST API & Services development / SQL / Oracle SQL
- Visual Cobol knowledge will be considered as a plus.
