VP - Enterprise Applications
About the Role:
We are seeking a visionary Enterprise Applications leader to lead the strategic design, integration, and enhancement of our business application portfolio. This role is key to help drive our digital transformation by building a robust, scalable, and cohesive application ecosystem that aligns with our business goals. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in application delivery and enterprise architecture with proven experience in executing transformational initiatives, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision & Roadmap Development: Define and communicate a multi-year roadmap for the enterprise application landscape, aligning with business goals and emerging technology trends.
- Transformation Leadership: Lead large-scale application transformation initiatives, from inception through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and achieving measurable outcomes.
- Application Integration: Architect integrated solutions to optimize data flows and improve operational efficiencies across various enterprise applications.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with executive leadership, IT, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs, define requirements, and ensure successful deployment and adoption of solutions.
- Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of the latest trends in technology, including cloud, AI, machine learning, and big data, and integrate these innovations into the enterprise application ecosystem.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure all enterprise applications meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements, mitigating risks associated with digital transformation.
- Performance Optimization: Oversee the performance and reliability of critical applications, ensuring they meet SLAs and performance benchmarks.
- Change Management & Adoption: Develop change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new applications and transformations, focusing on end-user experience and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's in computer science or information systems with MBA would be highly preferred
- Experience: 20+ years of experience in IT architecture, with a focus on enterprise applications; significant experience in leading transformational initiatives including Business Model Reengineering expertise.
- Technical & Functional Expertise: Extensive knowledge of enterprise applications - ERP, CRM, HRIS, cloud platforms, API integration, and data architecture including related processes.
- Certifications (preferred): TOGAF, Certified Enterprise Architect, PMP, or related certifications.
Skills:
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-faceted transformation programs scaling companies over $1B.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions that deliver tangible business value.
