What success looks like in this role:
• Develops knowledge and skills within a functional area or discipline.
• Serves in an entry-level role, receiving guidance and direction from a supervisor, manager or senior-level associate.
• May have basic accountability for routine assignments and task areas.
• Assignments involve a mix of learning and hands-on experience.
• May serve in a rotational manner, moving from one functional area to another for developmental purposes.
• May serves in either a technical or non-technical role, as described below. Additionally, may perform duties as described under the Intern / Student categories.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting
• Assisting with hardware and software installation, configuration or maintenance.
• Troubleshooting network, system or application issues for internal or external clients.
• Learning to use troubleshooting tools and ticketing systems to manage support requests.
IT Infrastructure Support
• Helping with server and network maintenance, including monitoring performance and security.
• Assisting with workstation setup, user account management and configuration.
• Learning about cloud-based services, virtualization and storage solutions.
Client Engagement and Support
• Helping with client inquiries, by phone, email or in person.
• Assisting with software demos, onboarding or training.
• Developing understanding of typical client needs, working with senior associates to deliver solutions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Working with allied teams to understand points of engagement and working methodologies.
• Learning to coordinate tasks within larger team settings and assisting with problem solving efforts.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
High School diploma or GED required
Generally, less than 1 years’ experience in area of responsibility
