Job Description
- Conduct operational activities in the Boiler & Power House, handling ambient conditions, noise, and various types of waste (hazardous, solid, and liquid) in line with SOPs and SHE guidelines.
- Operate and maintain utility machinery including boilers, generators, compressors, water treatment systems, and reverse osmosis units.
- Ensure adequate steam pressure, electricity, air supply, and water for operational needs, and manage their distribution.
- Monitor and report on the expiration of licenses and calibrations for equipment and personnel to superiors, GA, and managers.
- Adhere to and implement SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) protocols to prevent environmental pollution and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Ensure all wastewater is treated safely in the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP).
- Align shift activities and operator processes with planning, verify and authorize operator-recorded data, and prepare shift reports.
- Control the use of consumables, manage the supply of fuel, spare parts, and service equipment, and periodically check material availability.
- Maintain and clean operational equipment and work areas, ensuring proper handling and operation.
- Achieve quality targets and implement continuous improvement practices.
- Complete and maintain accurate data on operational activities.
- Report unresolved issues to supervisors within specified time limits, following established procedures.
- Replace absent colleagues’ duties as instructed and follow overtime/compensation procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of high school/vocational high school/diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with boilers, power houses, WTP (Water Treatment Plant), WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant), air compressors, and nitrogen systems
- Class 1 Boiler Operator Certificate from DISNAKER (preferred)
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining boiler machines, power houses, WTP, WWTP, air compressors, nitrogen systems, and related equipment.
- Understanding of boiler technology, materials, processes, power house generators, WTP, WWTP, air compressors, nitrogen systems, and related equipment.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Good understanding of processes to provide accurate troubleshooting in case of operational issues.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Willingness to be placed in Bandar Lampung
- Willingness to work on a shifting schedule and do overtime
