Protofire is looking for a Travel Manager to oversee all aspects of corporate travel for our team. This role involves developing travel policies, coordinating seamless travel arrangements, managing expenses, and building strong relationships with vendors to ensure optimal service. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement company travel policy and procedures.
- Organize and book travel arrangements for team members, including airfare, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and other travel-related services.
- Manage and track travel expenses and report on travel budgets.
- Manage credit card operations and reconcile travel expenses.
- Research and negotiate contracts with airlines, hotels, and other travel vendors to secure the best rates and services for the company.
- Provide support to team members with travel-related issues, such as lost luggage or flight cancellations.
- Develop and maintain trustworthy relationships with travel vendors and providers to ensure compliance with travel policies and standards.
- Visa support
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in travel regulations, and other relevant information that may impact travel policies or procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple travel arrangements and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiation skills to secure the best travel rates and services for the company.
- Knowledge of travel industry trends, travel-related regulations, and compliance requirements, including visa requirements.
- Knowledge of travel booking systems.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with travel policies and procedures.
- Analytical skills to track and report on travel expenses and budgets.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills to provide support to employees with travel-related issues.
- Experience in a corporate travel management role.
- Bachelor's degree in business, travel, and tourism management or a related field will be an added advantage.
