About the Role 

iCapital’s business is growing rapidly, successful candidates will join in our efforts to help iCapital clients globally to access alternative investments. iCapital is looking for a talented Vice President - Implementation Technology Manager to join the Implementation Specialists team in Lisbon/Singapore. The position will report to the Implementation Specialists team lead. The role encompasses supporting the technical operational needs of all platform offerings as well as supporting and identifying the development of custom features for new partners including providing support to design unique platform workflows.  The ideal candidate has a penchant for knowledge, a hunger for growth and learning, and will embrace a collaborative, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.  

 

Responsibilities 

As an Vice President - Implementation Technology Manager, you will concurrently support multiple projects and tasks. These tasks may include: 

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the platform and proactively identify issues and areas for improvement. 
  • Work with senior team members to coordinate and manage detailed technical implementation tasks for timely and successful platform implementations. 
  • Coordinate ongoing technical implementation activities with multiple teams and stakeholders, to ensure the articulation of technical requirements delivery with IT client teams. 
  • Work with senior team members to support the launch of new clients: 
  • Gather and coordinate the technical requirements assessment to establish a technical operating model that covers all the platform ecosystem and client requirements; 
  • Manage and coordinate the establishment bespoke platform settings to manage timelines to requirements outside of box; 
  • Manage, coordinate and support on complex implementation functionalities setup, including HTML configurations and customizations; 
  • Co-create clients workflows and use cases, managing the configuration and implementation of the defined scenarios; 
  • Coordinate test setups and configurations before releasing features to the client; 
  • Define and manage the implementation project plan, alerting to potential project implementation constraints and issues regarding technical features release. 
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external client platform update requests via the team's ticketing system. 
  • Learn and support all interfaces on the iCapital platform; develop an in-depth understanding of the platform and proactively identify issues and areas for improvement from a technical to business view.  
  • Lead technical operational configurations on the platform to achieve client's business outcomes/Target Operating Model. 
  • Participate and/or manage application systems setup, maintenance, implementation, upgrade, testing, go-live, support, and resolution, ensuring all business use cases reflect the defined Target Operating Model. 
  • Coordinate and support on maintenance and support of the platform. Activities include delivery of enhancements and bug fixes, managing of service requests and troubleshooting of problems. 
  • Drive quality control through the building and execution of test cases for all the developed features. 
  • Work diligently with senior management and clients to engage new opportunities. 

 

Qualifications 

  • B.Sc in computer or Engineering related fields 
  • Holding a Master's or MBA is a plus 
  • 5+ years of work experience in business integration, project technology implementation  
  • Experience with technical platform integration in the Financial Services industry 
  • Analyzing system workflows and business process flow is a plus. 
  • Proven ability to manage fast-paced projects and different client stakeholders with attention to detail 
  • Strong work ethic and a high degree of accountability 
  • Ability to quickly learn new business operations, processes, and procedures
  • Demonstrate initiative, passion, willingness to roll up one's sleeves, get the job done, and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are a must. Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.
