The Digital & Process Performance function serves as the transformation engine driving the upgrade of our digital core. By digitalizing our operations, we aim to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, deliver superior customer experiences, mitigate risks, and ensure business continuity—all while paving the way for next-generation innovations.
The Digital & Process Performance (DPP) function is organized into key teams to drive transformation effectively. Processes & Applications focuses on modernizing core business processes, while Data & Analytics enables data-driven decision-making. IT Operations ensures reliable and secure IT infrastructure, and the Transformation Management Office (TMO) drives Huhtamaki wide business transformation initiatives with strategic goals.
We are now looking for a talented Transformation Project Manager to work in our Transformation Management Office. Your initial focus would be in projects related to operating model, organization changes and change management. This role reports to our VP, Transformation Management Office. As part of the TMO you will be at the forefront of shaping our future success, working with key strategic programs and projects across Huhtamaki together with senior leaders from our business segments and functions globally. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Have project leadership role and ensure high performing team
- Plan and manage cross functional team in global matrix across business segments
- Facilitate and collaborate across functions to ensure projects are completed successfully
- Strategic, operational and tactical level project deployment in practice
- Plan and manage people centric change management and communication
- Prepare steering group materials, executive and board decision making materials
- Contribute in building strong project culture and global project management competencies across Huhtamaki
The TMO is working as an agile team, and key responsibilities for specific areas will be allocated among the team members based on experience, skills, and interest. In this role the focus will be initially in the project domains mentioned above, but we are looking for an individual who is interested also in other project domains and can adapt to our project needs in this interesting transformation journey.
Requirements for the role:
- A minimum of 5+ years project and transformation management experience preferred either from similar industry or management consulting in a global environment
- Certification is preferred in PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner, or equivalent or a background in management consulting
- Proven experience in running complex projects in global companies especially with people driven change management approach
- Strong conceptual skills, yet practical hands-on approach, ability to operate on strategic, operational and tactical level
- Budget, cost, and profitability management skills
- Ability to work with C-level and other senior level stakeholders
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to deal with uncertainty and work in a dynamic global matrix environment
- Experience in projects for example around digitalization, sustainability, operating models, post merger integrations, operational and commercial excellence
- Ability to apply and enhance Huhtamaki project management methodology for the project
- Relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree required
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in group wide transformation programs either in management consulting or a global company.
