The Digital & Process Performance function serves as the transformation engine driving the upgrade of our digital core. By digitalizing our operations, we aim to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, deliver superior customer experiences, mitigate risks, and ensure business continuity—all while paving the way for next-generation innovations.
The Digital & Process Performance (DPP) function is organized into key teams to drive transformation effectively. Processes & Applications focuses on modernizing core business processes, while Data & Analytics enables data-driven decision-making. IT Operations ensures reliable and secure IT infrastructure, and the Transformation Management Office drives Huhtamaki wide business transformation initiatives with strategic goals.
We are now looking for a DPP, Project Manager to work in our Transformation Management Office focusing on technical business application or infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities and key activities:
- Have a project leadership role: ensure that our IT Operation and Business Platforms related projects (e.g. application or system upgrades, consolidations, migrations, new functionality implementations etc.) are run methodically, and all the stakeholders know where we are on the development roadmap
- Project management (e.g. roadmaps, milestones, resourcing etc.) in versatile DPP projects in a global matrix across business sections
- Collaboration with our delivery partners as they are also playing an important role in developing and maintaining the solutions that we offer
- Prepare steering group materials, executive and board decision making materials
- Contribute in building strong project culture and global project management competencies across Huhtamaki
The TMO is working as an agile team, and key responsibilities for specific areas will be allocated among the team members based on experience, skills, and interest. In this role the focus will be initially in technical knowledge required business application and infrastructure projects, but we are looking for an individual who is interested also in other data project domains and can adapt to our project needs on this interesting transformation journey.
Requirements for the role:
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, organizing, and executing data-related projects. The ability to define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation, and effectively manage project risks and issues. Having relevant project management certificates like PMP, PgMP, IPMA etc. is very beneficial.
- Proficiency and experience in working with projects & integrations related to cloud technologies, strong understanding of cybersecurity principles including data encryption and network security
- Excellent communication skills to interact with technical teams, stakeholders, and business users. The ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Basic data analysis skills to review project metrics and data-related KPIs. The ability to use data insights for decision-making and project performance evaluation.
- Experience in working with external vendors or service providers for specific project requirements. The ability to coordinate with vendors and ensure deliverables meet project expectations.
- Strong documentation skills to maintain project plans, progress reports, and project documentation. The ability to create concise and clear project status updates for stakeholders.
- The capability to negotiate with stakeholders and resolve conflicts that may arise during the project
- Understanding and utilizing lean and agile principles would is going to be very beneficial on our road towards data savvy Huhtamaki.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), other languages are seen as a plus
- Master’s degree from a relevant field
