We are looking for a Trainee to join our Quality Assurance team at Trimble in Espoo.  This role is for applicants interested in software test automation. We hope you will be able to start in May/June and work until the end of August. You would work in our Espoo office.

The Quality assurance organization is a diverse and international team of experienced professionals working in various software testing activities. We ensure the continuous software development work for our world class products. What You Will Do
In this role you will have the opportunity to participate in and learn about software testing principles and hands-on solutions in a state-of-the-art software environment. In our MEP business area we develop microservices performing complex calculations for diverse problems relating to buildings. We enhance our existing CAE/CAD desktop applications to consume these microservices.
Depending on your skills and interests, you contribute to

• automated API Tests for microservices
• automated Contract Tests in our microservices architecture
• UI tests for our Angular based web UIs 
• manual or automated tests of our desktop applications consuming our microservice

You will write test code in languages such as C#, Javascript, Typescript. You will cooperate closely with other test automation specialists and developers in the area. Your team would consist of experts working from different locations. You would get support from the local Finland team too. You will also get to learn more about our product offerings within the MEP business area. Learn more about quality control mechanisms and product development processes. Carry out supervised tasks and guided individual projects. 

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

• Genuine interest to learn our software products, new industry, our tools and methods
• An open mind with positive and flexible attitude
• Ability to learn fast
• Fluent written and spoken English you would be part of virtual team
• Studies in Computers Science or any other related Science or Engineering 
• ​Any programming experience, API development or testing experience is an advantage.

You will be based in our brand new office in Espoo. It is only a 5 min walk from Leppävaara train station to our office. We have flexible working hours and hybrid work.
