Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer with experience in developing test frameworks, implementing test cases, and simulating large-scale embedded systems using container-based solutions. If you're looking for a new challenge within one of the region’s largest Quality Assurance organizations, this could be the perfect fit for you! This role is positioned at our HQ in Lund, Sweden.
Your future team
You’ll be joining a team of dedicated and talented QA engineers working with our Body Worn solutions. The team collaborates closely with the software development group to ensure high-quality releases. These solutions include embedded products, applications, and cloud technologies. What you’ll do here as a Test Automation Engineer
This role includes building and maintaining virtual test environments to simulate load, network traffic, and data volumes, as well as maintaining functional test frameworks and developing new test cases. Experience with container orchestration, network simulation, and performance testing is a plus.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop new test automation frameworks and test cases
- Maintain existing test automation framework
- Analyze test results
- Simulate large-scale embedded systems
- Develop and improve environments, methods, and processes
- Support and educate colleagues
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who thrives on problem-solving and is always seeking more efficient testing methods. You are flexible and have a good ability to learn new technology areas. You enjoy working in close collaboration with other colleagues and sharing knowledge. Your contribution to strong teamwork is important, both within and across teams.
In this role, it’s important that you have strong communication skills and that you have a good ability to clearly express your ideas and proactively push initiatives forward.
We'd love to hear that you have/are:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Solid experience in test automation, preferably Python
- Experience in building and maintaining virtual test environments, including simulating large-scale embedded systems
- Experience with CI/CD and Linux environments
- Good network communication knowledge and experience with data collection or log management systems
- Experience with wireless communication technologies (e.g., GPS, WiFi, LTE) is a plus
