Location: Global Technology Park, Bellandur, Bangalore, India (5 days' work from office is mandatory)

Position Summary:

At Skypoint, we are committed to delivering high-quality product documentation and help systems that empower our customers to achieve their goals seamlessly. As a Technical Writer, you will work closely with leadership, product, and engineering teams to create and refine engaging, precise, and user-centric technical content. Under the guidance of our Technical Product Managers, you will gather requirements, develop comprehensive documentation, and ensure the effectiveness of our content strategies. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with exceptional communication skills who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative, and global work environment.

📌 Candidates with a valid B1/B2 visa will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and update technical content including configuration guides, administration guides, technical notes, release notes, and knowledge base articles with a strong focus on AI product documentation.

Create technical videos (video user manuals) for end users to facilitate easy adoption of AI and SaaS-based products.

Support marketing efforts by contributing to technical blogs, product documentation, and industry-focused content.

Generate technical blogs that explain complex AI concepts, data ingestion, data unification, and other product functionalities for diverse audiences.

Ensure accuracy and relevance of technical content through product testing and technical reviews, working closely with the Technical Product Manager.

Utilize GIT tools for authoring and publishing content, following established workflows under the mentorship of senior team members.

Understand and execute technical content workflows, ensuring high-quality documentation is delivered on schedule.

Incorporate customer feedback and enhancement requests into technical documentation to continuously improve content relevance and usability.

Collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content.

Gain familiarity with functional specifications, user stories, white papers, bug reports, knowledge transfers, and SME interviews to enhance documentation accuracy.

Adhere to structured content planning, including detailed outlines, content schedules, and cross-functional coordination for timely content delivery.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong background in technical writing for AI products, SaaS, and DaaS solutions.

Hands-on experience in creating technical documentation and video content for AI-based products.

Familiarity with AI, ML, and data science concepts to effectively document AI-driven functionalities.

Experience in technical video creation and video documentation for end-user training.

Engineering degree (CS/IT) or BCA/MCA/BSc/MSc with a strong technical foundation.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with engineering and product teams.

Strong ability to synthesize complex technical information and present it in a user-friendly manner.

Experience using GIT tools for documentation management and publishing.

Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
