This is a full time, remote Summer Internship that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
We are seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Intern to join our team at Calix! You will play a crucial role in refining our recruitment processes, enhancing talent engagement/employer branding strategies, leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making, and sourcing top talent. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Talent Acquisition by ensuring the company attracts and retains the best talent, which is essential for growth and innovation. This is an exciting opportunity for students interested in Recruitment, HR, or Marketing to join a fast-paced company and get hands on experience in Talent Acquisition.
This opportunity is expected to last 90 days and is open to students returning to school in the Fall.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist in developing and implementing employer brand strategies that align with the company's values, mission, and culture
  • Monitor the performance of talent acquisition initiatives and provide regular reports to the team with actionable insights
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and candidate behavior to inform recruitment strategies
  • Help articulate and promote the company's Employer Value Proposition through various communication channels
  • Create personalized campaigns/templates for Talent Acquisition team to use in passive candidate outreach and generate interest in Calix as an employer
  • Provide administrative support to recruitment team and assist in the management of specific recruitment projects

Qualifications:

  • Working towards a human resources, business, communications, or marketing degree (Junior or Senior preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Teams, etc.)
  • Beginner to intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas
  • Experience within Talent Acquisition or Human Resources preferred
  • Experience with marketing strategies and tools (Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Hootsuite, etc.) preferred
  • Experience with content creation and performance analytics
  • Comfortable with technology and learning new apps/platforms in a remote environment
  • Interested in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Marketing, or Employer Branding as a career path
  • Strong communication skills, detail oriented, and energetic team player
  • Ability to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September).

Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education.

San Francisco Bay Area Only:

21.85 - 28.75 USD Hourly

National Major Cities plus, CA, CO, NY Metro area:

19.00 - 25.00 USD Hourly

Regional plus NY:

17.10 - 22.50 USD Hourly
