Position Description:
Bertram Capital is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team for the summer, supporting the Talent Acquisition function within the firm. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruiting and human resources in a fast-paced, private equity environment. The Talent Acquisition Intern will help identify top talent, improve candidate experience, and support the overall hiring process from start to finish. This role is ideal for a student interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or organizational development.
Location: Remote but must be located in California, Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, Illinois, Massachusetts, Florida, New York, or Ohio.

Responsibilities:
- Assess candidates and make recommendations for potential fit for an open position.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process ensuring a timely, courteous, and professional experience.
- Assist with administrative functions such as document creation and collection for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Research and create action plans for future recruitment efforts.
- Assist with other projects related to Talent Acquisition.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and other HR technology/reporting tools.
- Experience with Microsoft suite
- Exceptional detail orientation as well as interpersonal and organizational skills
- High integrity in working with confidential information
Compensation: The expected compensation for this role is $30 per hour.
