System Architect, Offer Labs

Summary of the Role

As a System Architect, you will play a key role within our Agile Release Train (ART). Your primary responsibility will be to develop and share a common technical and architectural plan for the solutions being developed. You will ensure that the architecture supports our business objectives, define enablers, outline non-functional requirements, and manage capacity for enablement work. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, the Release Train Engineer (RTE), and Business Owners to work with Agile Teams on the evolution of system designs, integrating technical solutions with business needs to drive value creation.

In This Role You Will

• Be responsible for software architecture throughout the lifecycle development, considering system constraints and enterprise architecture strategic directions.

• Direct and coordinate software architecture studies for your functional area.

• Identify modeling, simulation, and prototyping opportunities.

• Provide knowledge on advanced software architecture, considering future developments.

• Collaborate with team members to provide technical expertise.

• Select appropriate design standards, methods, and tools.

• Contribute to the architect community, educate, study options, and recommend evolutions.

• Collaborate with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Product Manager of your and other trains to ensure decisions, arbitrations, and directions are taken in a technically informed manner.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Relevant experience as an Architect and significant experience in Software Engineering.

• Proficient in software development with expertise in software architecture, cloud-native applications, and microservices.

• Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to convey complex technical information clearly.

• Experience collaborating with Product Managers and customers.

• Innovative mindset with experience in implementing positive changes.

• Ability to work independently and lead projects.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

The Offer Labs (LAB) Agile Release Train (ART) is at the forefront of delivering innovative solutions in the Offer Revenue Management (RM) domain. Our team is dedicated to developing user interfaces and scientific components for RM-related solutions, expanding into non-Airline verticals, conducting scientific research, and providing professional services to a growing customer base. We also offer transversal support to the OFR business domain, leveraging our expertise in science, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning.
