ROLE : Sustainability AnalystREPORTS TO : Sustainability Manager (Global)BASE LOCATION : HyderabadPURPOSE : This position will support Solenis sales and marketing functions by driving sustainability value across our commercial offerings. The Sustainability Analyst will help develop sustainability value propositions for all five business units and improve responsiveness to customer requests. Performance will be measured in terms of growing current product sales, defending at-risk business or creating new revenue streams based on services. Over time, the role will be a key sustainability expert to not only improve existing processes, but to find novel ways to support customers on their sustainability initiatives. Reporting to Sustainability manager, the analyst will be responsible and accountable for all quantitative analysis in the areas below:PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Conduct life cycle assessments (LCA), carbon accounting, Scope 1, 2, and 3 measurements, water footprint and biodiversity assessments, along with other technical sustainability calculations. Manage Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data to support customer reporting and Solenis' transparency initiatives. Collaborate with the global sustainability team to develop and apply sustainability expertise and value arguments to support key customers. Customize value propositions to meet regional needs and respond to customer surveys, information requests, bids, and tenders. Establish and manage a global resource centre for customer requests. Develop a sustainability FAQ database for sales and marketing to proactively engage with customers. Engage directly with customers, in partnership with sales and marketing, to showcase the sustainable value of Solenis solutions. Support Solenis’ sustainability strategy as needed. Serve as the main resource for sharing best practices and harmonizing sustainability approaches across sales and marketing teams within the region, while communicating sustainability priorities and achievements. Enhance automation and optimization: Automate LCA models and other tools, like Power Automate with Power BI. Optimize LCA calculations for greater efficiency. Monitor performance and generate reports: Develop and execute LCA models to assess product impacts (packaging, chemicals, tools, machinery, fabric, etc.). Create a monthly dashboard to track progress and LCA requests. Optimize and report Net positive values (Water, energy, waste, GHG, etc)

- Strong knowledge and experience in LCA calculation is preferrable

QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES:
EDUCATION: Should have a technical background : Relevant degree in sustainability/ Environmental Science or business; Right candidate with environmental sciences, biology, chemistry, or engineering is possible, this position needs to have a good technical and analytical skill mindsetEXPERIENCE: To have the experience of:-2-5 years of Sustainability field (Life cycle assessment, Decarbonization, Net positive, material circularity) experience in IndustrialProven knowledge of LCA carbon footprint of chemicalsPrior experience in cleaning & hygiene and/ or water treatment industry is desirable but not essentialKnowledge or experience with sustainability field (2-5 years)Experience working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with conflicting requests, and prioritizing work requests.Closely aligns with Global Sustainability team and Marketing, sales etc
