Responsibilities:
- Direct, control, and maintain all levels of finished goods and raw material inventories within all of Chem-Trend’s facilities and warehouses within North America.
- Guide the Supply Chain Analyst to ensure effective communications and relationships with all departments.
- Direct the control of finished goods and raw materials. This includes monitoring and challenging (as needed) all scraped material, and minimizing old, obsolete, unapproved, and slow-moving inventory.
- Review active formulas for potential deletion based on PLM.
- Monitor and control finished goods inventories at the off-site warehouses to ensure material meets shelf-life requirements.
- Direct the month end reconciliation process of finished goods and raw material at Chem-Trend’s North American facilities and outside warehouses
- Plan and coordinate the year-end physical inventory at Chem-Trend.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management or related field- a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
- Experience managing and mentoring direct reports- required.
- Excellent analytical, and time management skills.
- A working knowledge of batch processing of chemical specialty products and inventory control- a plus.
- The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly, such as safety glasses, safety shoes, highly visible vest, and gloves while in the production areas and labs.
