Strategic Pricing Manager - Remote

We are excited about this position. You will work with our automated solutions for Restaurant Technologies (RT). Our service puts customers in control of optimizing their commercial kitchen operations. Reporting to the head of Product Innovation, you will partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Operations, Accounting and Finance to define pricing strategies that maximize customer satisfaction, drive profitability, and enable predictable double-digit growth. 

  • Travel:  domestically – up to 10% of the time

    Location: this is a remote position and must live in the continental US.

Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally to build pricing models for new business, renewals, and new product launches
  • Triangulate appropriate price structures and price points using a deep understanding of:
    • The product line P&L
    • Customer price sensitivity & perception of value
    • Business case outputs such as IRR
    • Primary & Secondary research
    • Financial modeling and data analysis
    • Internal stakeholder feedback
    • Competitive research
  • Create a forum with consistent cadence and expectations where pricing for business opportunities can be brought forward and reviewed
  • Collaborate on organization-wide projects such as quoting process optimization and go to market strategies
  • Build financial impact models to illustrate the revenue and margin impacts of different price structures and price levels
  • Identify and execute on ways to simplify pricing structure and processes
  • Work with go-to-market teams to iterate on ideal pricing models that capture growth while maximizing the value of our products
  • Build & maintain pricing tools such as price lists, ROI calculators, pricing reports and real time dashboards
  • Partner with P&L Owners to analyze P&L, understand levers, and implement winning approaches
  • Use your deep understanding of the business to communicate opportunity areas for cost reductions, demand shaping, market share capture, and operational efficiency gains
  • Review and approve pricing variation requests
  • Provide feedback on contract term negotiations

Requirements:

  • Customer focused approach and understanding of how serving the customer leads to business results
  • Proven analytical skills and able to pull insights from qualitative and quantitative sources
  • 8+ years working in pricing, contracts or finance
  • Proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder pricing projects to success
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field

Preferred:

  • MBA or related Master’s degree desired
