Job Description:
HPE develops the As A Service Business in Storage. HPE puts the focus on this new Serie called “HPE ALLETRA” with a new approach to manage the “Data Services Cloud Console” Storage Systems.
Who we seek
To develop the Storage As A Service business, HPE France is searching to hire a new Storage Sales Specialist.
The Storage Sales Specialist will have a dedicated Customer Set in Top Accounts.
For these customers, she/he will:
- Work with his/her presales to build a value selling strategy within the CS
- Be the Customer Trusted Advisor on the data services approach
- Build & execute the storage sales strategy within the account
- Be familiar with MEDDIC or Challenger Sales methodology
- Be a hunter & creative spirit
In a typical day as a Storage Sales Specialist, you would
- Conduct business meetings with customers & partners
- Be responsible for representing HPE’s Storage Alletra solution & the Data Services Cloud Console, relevant way that resonates with customers and highlights HPE’s key
- Understand customer’s critical business priorities and supporting IT challenges and requirements and relate them to the selling process
- Focus on driving value for the client, while maximizing competitive share, revenue, and margin for HPE
- Identify, qualify, and close new business that results in substantial incremental revenue and margins to HPE in addition to maintain and expand existing products
- Identify competitive strengths to drive a purchase decision
- Responsible for over-achieving sales goals
Who you are
- Business School or University Degree
- Typically 6+ years of experience in technology industry with focus on selling preferably in Storage or Compute.
- Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen? Good start, you are aligned to our core values!
- Competent in the sale of IT services and outsourcing
- Excellent in verbal and written communication and presentation
- Good level in English
Good understanding of the IT Domain among these technologies
- Storage (SAN/NAS) : HPE or EMC, NetApp, Hitachi or Pure storage,
- Backup : Veeam, CommVault, NetBackup
- Compute & Virtualization : VMWare , Linux, Nutanix
- General IT Skills : Bash or PowerShell scripting, Monitoring...
