We are looking for an engineer to join our Data Security engineering team, which is responsible for building the products for the Encryption and Key Management portfolio. The team is part of Thales's Cybersecurity and digital Identity (CDI) business line of its CSP Global Business Unit.
Job Responsibilities
The Sr Software Engineer in the Data Security team will be required to perform the following tasks:

Follows the software development lifecycle.

Designs and builds scalable microservices and orchestration.

Uses test-driven methodologies and automation during the design and development phase to ensure quality before handing off to Quality Assurance teams for further testing and verification.

Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with product owners, and analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes.

Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.

Keeps up to date with technical developments in the field of server development and security.

Works closely with customer support to understand issues and represent user and product solutions.
Skills and Experience
-
Overall 4-7 years of related experience as a software engineer in development.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or another related technical discipline.

Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP), and Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM)

Out of total at least 2 to 3+ years of experience using AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes, with a focus on launching products in production using these technologies.

2 to 3+ years of experience using SaaS applications in the cloud and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

3+ years of prior experience programming in Go, C/C++, and Typescript languages.

3+ years of experience with RESTful API using tools such as Swagger.
