- Strong conflict management and consultation skills and the ability to independently navigate first-time and complex situations and drive results.

Primary Duties
.
1. Works on enterprise-wide projects to increase value of HR as a valued business partner.
2. Partners with Culture and Safety to continually assess ways to influence client groups to improve in areas.
3. Leads or oversees complex employee relations issues that may require thorough investigations, interaction with legal counsel, interaction with federal/state regulatory agencies, and liaison with internal management.
4. Resolves complex HR business problems including organizational interventions.
5. Obtains sponsorship and buy-in to support HR programs; where applicable, conducts new program/idea pilots providing feedback for optimum results.
6. Conducts needs analysis and assessments collaborating with stakeholders to develop action plans.
7. Advises leadership regarding new federal and state legislation, along with internal HR policy/procedure changes.
8. Identifies talent and partners with leadership to develop employees.
9. Provides day-to-day performance management feedback/guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, work force planning).
10. Provides solutions involving employee matters that align with business objectives.
11. Models living AtmoSpirit, providing positive influence to affect change in the culture.
12. Facilitates employee sessions and meetings.
13. May guide or oversee another HR team member's work.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or equivalent, and four years progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, including at least two years as an HR Generalist.
2. PHR/SPHR preferred.
3. Valid driver's license.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, persuade, resolve conflict, motivate and build consensus (inspire not require); the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers in order to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information on technical or other complex concepts to individuals with little or no background in the area under discussion.
NUMERIC SKILLS:
Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Requires advanced knowledge of various software applications to create complex documents, reports and/or graphics.
WORK CONDITIONS:
Works in an office environment.Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Overnight travel is required.
