JOB SUMMARY:
Are you someone who has a passion to drive positive culture and eager to support team members? We are looking for a Human Resource Manager to join our amazing team at Iowa Mold Tooling company!
As the Human Resource Manager you will be the liaison between team members and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations. This role will provide HR support to the different business functions which may include recruitment, employment documentation, job evaluation, compensation and benefits. You will also collect and analyze HR data and make recommendations for changes to management.
This role will be based onsite at our Garner, Iowa facility.
YOUR IMPACT:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Support the business unit/functional area by promotion, communicating, and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.
- Build and maintain influential relationships by being a strategic partner with management and an employee advocate.
- Provide HR consultation and support to a designated business unit/functional area.
- Consult with business unit management in the strategic planning process and development of HR strategies that support the business needs.
- Provide guidance on employment law, coordinate performance management, and resolve employee relations issues.
- Partner with he company and union on grievance procedures.
- Acts as an expert on HR policies and procedures such as payroll, staffing, benefits, compensation, employee development and recruiting.
- Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training manager to coach and discipline employees.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, establish personal networks, and participate in professional groups.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Eight (8) or more years of relevant HR experience.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience working in a unionized environment.
- Prior manufacturing industry experience.
- Ability to lead and develop HR department staff members.
- Innovative, future oriented, and open to new thoughts and ideas.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with influence and continuous improvement mindset.
- Possess distinctive ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Physical Demands: Frequent Sitting, Hearing, Talking, Visual, Typing, Manual Dexterity; Seldom Standing, Walking/Running, Reaching, Driving, Bending/Kneeling, Fine Dexterity, Upper Extremity Repetitive Motion, and Lifting/Carrying and Pushing/Pulling up to 40lbs.
Pay Range:
$102,800.00 - $176,800.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
