Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills, proficiency in JavaScript, and expertise in at least one object-oriented programming (OOP) language (e.g., C++, Python). This role requires a deep understanding of hardware-software interaction and the ability to troubleshoot complex embedded systems effectively. The engineer should be comfortable working in agile environments, demonstrate strong debugging skills, and have experience using Jira for project tracking and management.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware and embedded software for advanced electronic and mechanical systems.
- Integrate and implement software solutions that interface seamlessly with hardware components.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in JavaScript and or one OOP language (e.g. C/C++, Java, Python).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and products.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex software and hardware interactions to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in embedded software development. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for both software and hardware-related issues
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript and at least one OOP language (e.g., C++, Python, Java).
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of embedded systems and how software interacts with hardware components. Experience with Git and Jira.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
