Job Summary

Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing

Senior Business System Analyst sought by Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare to maintain Harvard Pilgrim’s rating systems and applications and support rate releases for all market segments as per the release schedules and resource assignments. Designing, developing, and implementing various Rate Model design enhancements as assigned. Configuring the rating rules and calculations into rating applications to support Harvard Pilgrim’s Online Quoting and Renewal online portals. Maintaining and sharing rate model schedules as needed. Performing system analytics for rate requests from and exports to EEE, Harvard Pilgrim’s Oracle CRM portal. Developing reports, queries, and/or extracts to support rating related ad hoc or scheduled data requests and analytics. Developing process and system efficiency on a continuing basis. Maintaining up to date documentation on rating methodologies. Maintaining and sharing the rate model schedules as needed. Guiding and training junior analysts on technical design and code as needed.

Qualifications – what you need to perform the job

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related field and three years’ of work experience in the job offered or related field of web applications development.

Must have the following:

  • Three years’ web applications development experience must include experience with end-to-end flow of an application lifecycle, incorporation of new functionalities, and debugging issues. 

  • Three years’ experience gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable technical requirements. 

Work Location: Canton, MA
