The responsibilities of a Social Media Specialist include developing and executing (or localizing) social media content strategies, creating and managing social media campaigns, monitoring and analyzing social media metrics, and staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Job Description

  • Strategically manages social media platforms for Japan SNS Channels, to drive customer engagement, website traffic, and revenue.
  • Localizing the post content, tell the story of our brand through engaging and optimize content.
  • Planning, implementing, and maintaining the social media calendar.
  • Driving growth through social influencer partnerships by engaging the social presence and community of users.
  • Understand social media analytics and campaign attribution; create monthly reporting.
  • Researching relevant companies and bloggers for potential partnerships.
  • Performing other ad-hoc projects as assigned by management
  • Work closely with HQ teams to implement influencer marketing plans and strategies

Requirement

  • Proficient in spoken and written Japanese and English
  • Strong understanding of the Japanese language and culture
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 2+ years of experience with social media management of a similar brand, and we’d love to see a showcase of your relevant success stories.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field (Nice to have)
  • Experience using major social media platforms (FB, IG, X (ex-Twitter), Tiktok etc).
  • An eye for design    
  • Comfortable in this hands-on, self motivated role. Ideally you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
