As a Social Media Manager focused on the Mexican markets, you will play a critical role in crafting and executing innovative social media strategies that resonate with our target audience. Your expertise in sports, particularly football, combined with a deep understanding of social media trends in the sports and betting landscape, will be key to driving brand awareness, user acquisition, and customer loyalty.


Key Responsibilities:


- Develop and implement social media strategies tailored to the Mexican markets, while aligning with SportyBet’s global brand vision.


- Produce compelling content for various social media platforms, with a strong emphasis on football culture and trends in Mexico.


- Engage actively with our community, responding to comments and queries in a manner that reflects local nuances and expressions.


- Leverage your deep knowledge of football, including local leagues, teams, players, and fan culture, to create content that genuinely connects with football fans.


- Stay ahead of industry trends through regular competitor analysis, and craft innovative social media campaigns targeted at football enthusiasts.


- Collaborate closely with the marketing team, ensuring social media efforts complement broader marketing campaigns.


- Edit and produce dynamic video content for platforms like TikTok, Shorts, Instagram, and Twitter, focusing on Mexican football. Manage social media budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation.


- Build relationships with influencers, sports personalities, and local football communities to boost brand visibility and engagement.


Requirements:


- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.


- Proven track record in managing social media for brands in the sports or betting industry.


- Extensive knowledge of football in Mexico, including local and national leagues. Skilled in social media management tools, analytics, and content creation software, including video editing.


- Creative and innovative in developing social media campaigns that appeal to football fans. Exceptional organisational skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.


- Strong analytical skills, able to derive insights from data to inform strategies.


- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently. Knowledge of the sports betting and online gaming industry is a significant plus.
