The Senior Specialist, Financial Planning and Analysis duties and responsibilities include providing valued financial information and being a trusted business advisor by making planning and analysis a core competency within the organization and project management. Working with the Regional Finance team in Hong Kong and Department head locally, the incumbent ensures that the Business Unit financial planning and analysis processes are aligned with Asia Division’s and Company’s goals. Supporting CFO to manage the company projects or initiatives which align with the company’s strategies.

Position Responsibilities:
Financial planning:
- Prepare credible and comprehensive financial plan that support our strategic aspirations.
- Be responsible for managing business plan process, coordinating with all departments’ head in preparation of the business plan; liaising with Regional office on timeline and submission requirements.
Financial forecast and analysis:
- Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections and expense forecasting.
- Leverage financial data to provide analysis to senior managements and other stakeholder (e.g. board of director, regulator etc.) on the spendings, distribution costs and effectiveness of sales campaigns.
- Perform financial analysis and provide actionable insight to the senior management team. In addition, partner with each functional owner in reviewing actual spendings as well as discipline the spendings aligned with the allowed budget.
Banking relationship:
- temporary responsible for the daily treasury management and relationship with banking and financial institution
Project/Initiatives:
- Support project manager and Project Management Office (PMO) in financial analysis for any project proposal and provide recommendation on project financial proposal
- Perform project spend tracking and post project implementation
- Ensure the project and initiative comply with Outcome Delivery Framework (ODF)
People Development:
- Focus on talent development and strengthening of employee engagement.
Required qualifications:
- Possesses a degree in finance/ accounting and professional qualification (ACCA, CPA)
- A 3+ years of accounting experience in the financial industry
- Highly developed business acumen and business/profit orientation
- Hardworking and possesses ability to take initiatives
- Ambition to progress into more senior positions
- Skillful in influencing others
- Demonstrate supervisory skills
- Problem solving skills
- High attentions to details and accuracy
