The successful incumbent is responsible to conducting moderately complex financial, accounting and economic analyses, including journal entry preparation, taxation, treasury, payments and internal and external reporting.

We are looking for someone with:  

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/ accounting, professional qualification (ACCA, CPA) is a plus
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in finance, and accounting. Candidates with experience in banking or insurance companies will be of added advantage
• Basic knowledge in Accounting and operational systems, knowledge of the Sun Accounting System will be of added advantage

Nice to Haves:   

• Knowledge of IFRS will be of added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word is required
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, possess good inter-personal communication skill both internally and externally
• High comfort level working in a diverse environment and a dynamic team player

On the job you will:  

• Involve in payment processing and reconciliation of sale distributions compensation schemes
• Involve in the staff claims and other payment processing and reconciliation
• Prepare/ post journal entries, perform reconciliations, assist in the month-end closing of the accounts
• Review the reconciliations and investigation on accounting issues
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
• Participate in departmental special projects and perform other duties as assigned
