What are we looking for?
We are looking for an Actuarial Analyst to support in implementing and maintaining the IFRS17 accounting standard, primarily by performing data analysis, model calculations, and report generation. The person needs to ensure accurate financial reporting under the new standard, compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices by applying his/her expertise in existing actuarial valuation, and financial reporting. You will often be working closely with senior actuaries.
What are we expecting from this role?

Support IFRS17 preparation and implementation in collaboration with the Finance team to ensure acurrate and complete data.

Model Adaptation: Assist in updating and validating the cashflow models to comply with IFRS 17, particularly the General Measurement Model (GMM).

Ensure that financial results are prepared on the respective regulatory basis, timely on sound principles and are analyzed, understood, and communicated clearly.

Support the documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and model changes to comply with IFRS 17. Maintain clear records of all updates and adjustments made during the implementation process.

Participate in the testing (UAT) of IFRS 17 outputs to ensure accurate and reliable results. Assist in stress testing and sensitivity analyses as required by the implementation process.

Contribute to the preparation and validation of IFRS 17 financial reports (e.g., P&L, balance sheet). Reconcile IFRS 17 results with existing IFRS 4 figures and assist in understanding variances.

Develop/enhance and implement the best practice of actuarial reporting methodology.

Support sensitivity analysis of financial metrics.

Developing and implementing the framework of IFRS17 by understanding the gaps between current and IFRS17 methodology/reporting.
Who are we looking for?

At least 1 year experience related to actuarial or desmonstrate logical and critical thinking

Bachelor holder in Finance / Economics / MathematicsBachelor holder in Finance / Economics / Mathematics

Have good conceptual, analytical, logical thinking and financial skills.

Have foundations in executing MS Office with massive data.
